“Having previously worked in travel retail for almost 10 years I am very excited to be back in the industry and am thrilled to start working with the TRBusiness team,” said Lindsay.
“I aim to forge long-lasting relationships with clients and am looking forward to seeing old friends and meeting new ones.”
Lindsay is an internationally recognised sales professional who is proficient in retail and e-commerce markets, with more than 30 years’ experience in the media.
The accomplished sales manager speaks French and Spanish and prides herself on her communication and relationship building skills.
“We are delighted to announce that Karen Lindsay has joined TRBusiness, strengthening our team with a rare blend of industry insight and forward-thinking expertise,” said Nigel Hardy & Janice Hook Co-Owners and Joint CEOs of TRBusiness.
“Karen is well known across travel retail, having previously worked on industry titles DFNI and The Moodie Davitt Report. Her early career immersed her in the commercial heartbeat of our sector – understanding its people, its brands and the forces that shape it.
“In recent years, Karen expanded that foundation by moving into the events and exhibitions industry, where she delivered high-impact experiences, built strategic partnerships and honed a skill set focused on engagement, innovation and commercial delivery.
“That combination makes her return to travel retail especially compelling.
“As TRBusiness continues to evolve its portfolio across media, events and industry engagement, Karen’s experience will play a key role in how we connect the industry, create value for our partners and develop new opportunities. She brings both the credibility of deep sector knowledge and the energy of fresh thinking – exactly what today’s travel retail landscape demands.
“We’re thrilled to welcome Karen back to the industry and to TRBusiness, and we look forward to the impact she will make.”
