TRBusiness and m1nd-set are thrilled to announce that the sixth edition of the consumer-centric TR Consumer Forum will take place from 29 June to 1 July, 2026, at Geneva Airport, hosted by the International Air Transport Association (IATA).

Landing in Geneva with IATA reinforces the event’s strategic positioning at the intersection of air traffic intelligence and consumer insights, brought to life through the Forum’s signature blend of compellingly candid keynotes, lively panel discussions and valuable audience interaction.

The two-day global conference programme will connect macro-level air traffic evolution with micro-level purchase behaviour, placing robust data and analysis at the core of strategic industry dialogue.

Indeed, the exclusively curated proprietary consumer research provided by m1nd-set, combined with the discussions sparked around them, will give rise to a wealth actionable insights into traveller behaviour, purchase drivers, category dynamics and regional trends.

By providing delegates with a deep understanding of how passengers think, move and buy – and most importantly, how to translate those insights into measurable commercial outcomes – the 2026 TR Consumer Forum is a must-attend fixture for all those who want to stay a step ahead.

“We are absolutely delighted to announce that the 2026 TR Consumer Forum will be held in Geneva in partnership with IATA,” said Nigel Hardy & Janice Hook, Co-owners and joint CEOs of TRBusiness.

“Bringing the industry together at this major international aviation hub, and working alongside the respected international organisation of IATA, underscores the growing importance of collaboration between travel retail and the wider air transport community. We look forward to welcoming delegates to what promises to be a landmark event for our industry.”

Dr. Peter Mohn, Owner & CEO, m1nd-set commented: “We are truly honoured to have IATA hosting the TR Consumer Forum 2026 in Geneva. This year marks the 10th anniversary of our partnership with IATA, through which we deliver to the travel retail industry the most comprehensive and accurate repository of global air traffic information available today.

“Bringing the Forum directly to the airport, at the intersection of aviation intelligence and consumer insight, is a powerful reflection of how closely passenger flows and commercial performance are connected.”

Added Anna Marchesini, Head of Business Development, m1nd-set: “For this year’s TR Consumer Forum, we are unboxing a series of entirely new insights that have not been explored before. Our objective is to address, explain and openly discuss the key issues shaping travel retail today and tomorrow, always from the traveller’s perspective. By grounding every conversation in real passenger behaviour and expectations, we aim to provide the industry with clarity, direction and actionable understanding.”

Established by TRBusiness and m1nd-set in 2020, the TR Consumer Forum is the only event in the duty free and travel retail (DF&TR) industry’s annual calendar that’s dedicated entirely to traveller and shopper intelligence.
