Air France pilots call off strikes

Air France pilots have called off their threat to take daily industrial action between May 3 to 30 over ‘rights to strike’ which had threatened services out of Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport.This follows assurances given to the pilots union SNPL by airlines that no pilots will be ‘imported’ from other countries in an event of strike action in future. The original threat to strike followed a dispute between the union and easyJet which subsequently spread to Air France pilots.
