John Rimmer is the new TFWA Conference, Research and External Affairs Director, following TFWA Conference and Research Manager Michael Barrett’s decision to work in India.
Paris-based Rimmer reports to TFWA MD Alain Maingreaud and will be in charge of TFWA’s conferences and workshops, the MEDFA Conference and TFWA’s new China Industry Conference co-organised with the Asia Pacific Travel Retail Association.
Rimmer will also manage TFWA’s research agenda, while Barrett (pictured below) will work with him on the handover until March 2013.
Erik Juul-Mortensen, TFWA President and Thom Rankin, TFWA Vice-President Conference & Research both thanked Barrett for his great work with TFWA over the last six years.
Rimmer was formerly Executive Director Business Development for Moodie International.
