The new boutique offers premium confectionery and fine food, anchored with a strong Sense of Place.

Lagardère Travel Retail and Amsterdam Airport Schiphol have opened a new Chocolate House in the airport’s Lounge 1 – the flagship store of the new ‘Today Duty Free’ concept, unveiled earlier this year.

The boutique is said to offer an indulgent confectionery experience, combining international gourmet chocolates with a strong Sense of Place.

Offering both premium confectionery and fine food, the Chocolate House features a Pierre Hermé counter that spotlights hand-picked macarons and chocolates. The curated selection of premium brands available includes Pierre Marcolini, Neuhaus, Leonidas, Lindt, Corné Port-Royal and Godiva, along with a Venchi Pick & Mix.

The best of Dutch confectionery is also highlighted, through local favourites MADAQ, Visser Chocolate and De Bonte Koe. A handmade chocolate windmill provides a striking centrepiece.

At the core of the Chocolate House concept lies a commitment to exceptional customer service. For example, sales staff have spent time training with the Pierre Hermé team in Paris to learn the art of macaron preparation.
