GTR and airlines are expected to be key to the international footprint of La Banquise Pack Ice.

Ahead of the TFWA World Exhibition & Conference in Cannes, the new French luxury vodka brand La Banquise Pack Ice has set out objectives for worldwide growth.

La Banquise Pack Ice is targeting 90% of its revenue from export markets.

Crafted and bottled in the Cognac region, La Banquise is developing at the “crossroads of premium spirits and haute gastronomy”, with global travel retail and airlines among its key international distribution channels. Objectives include a presence onboard First and Business Class inflight sections.

Its international roll-out strategy includes 50 countries by 2027, 70 in 2028 and 100 in the long term.

Haute Gastronomy is a pillar of its growth. The brand’s partnership with triple-Michelin-starred chef Christopher Coutanceau and Nicolas Brossard anchors that ambition in the “French art of living”.

Poland is the first international market to open, and a listing in Luxembourg is expected soon.

Priority markets include France, Spain, Italy, Germany and the UK in Europe. The US and Canada are marked for expansion in North America, while Hong Kong, Macau, Singapore, China and Japan are scheduled in Asia.

La Banquise Pack Ice enters the market with six references, each 70 cl at 40% vol. but its full aromatic signatures haven’t been revealed as yet.

The launch range comprises Rye the first expression presented, together with five other creations. Rye sets the tone: “a lively, refined vodka with citrus notes” alongside grapefruit, bitter orange, green mandarin and candied lemon – followed by floral nuances and a peppery finish, according to the brand.
