On behalf of CAC, Cairo International Airport is inviting interest in a pre-qualification process for its upcoming tender.
On behalf of Cairo Airport Company (CAC), Cairo International Airport is inviting international companies specialising in managing and operating food & beverage (F&B) units and speciality retail to participate in a pre-qualification process for its upcoming tender.
The company’s aim is to select ‘the most qualified international operators’ to manage and develop the activities across Terminals 1, 2, and 3, covering an area of approximately 4,000-5,000 sqm of commercial space (spanning airside to landside and international departures, domestic departures, and international arrivals).
Participation is open to international operators with proven expertise, either individually or in partnership, provided they meet the minimum requirements.
Firstly, they must have demonstrated experience in managing and operating F&B and specialty retail activities in at least two international airports outside the Egypt, with passenger volumes comparable to Cairo International Airport.
The second requirement is experience managing a portfolio, including both international and local brands, in line with the criteria outlined in the pre-qualification document.

The pre-qualification process aims to attract leading international operators with proven expertise to participate in shaping a ‘world-class passenger experience’ at Cairo International Airport.
Following the pre-qualification process, a limited tender is set to be carried out among shortlisted companies.
The subsequent concession will be offered through this competitive bidding process, based on two different commercial packages.

There are two commerical packages that interested parties can apply for.
Interested international operators may apply for one or both packages: P1 spanning approximately 2,500-3,000 sqm and P2 covering around 1,500-2,000 sqm
The concession contract period will last for five years with a possibility for extending for two additional years.

The pre-qualification documents land on 5 October and the deadline to submit pre-qualification documents is 2 November 2025.
The pre-qualification documents will be available from Sunday 5 October 2025, against a non-refundable fee of US$200 (or equivalent).
The deadline for the submission of all pre-qualification documents is Sunday 2 November 2025.
The evaluation will be conducted strictly according to the requirements set forth in the pre-qualification documents and in accordance with CAC’s procurement and sales regulations and Egyptian law.
