AeliaNZWinesLagardère Travel Retail is celebrating consumer appeal for Pinot noir wine with activations at Aelia Duty Free shops in New Zealand this year.

A ‘Pinot Playground Promotion’ showcases products from the revered red wine grape varietal at Auckland and Christchurch stores this month, with customers offered the chance to save 10% on any two purchases.

Pinot Playground runs until the end of June.

SAUVIGNON BLANC SHOWGROUND

While Pinot Playground wines take centre stage throughout the promotion, in-store sampling is available for the featured wines all year round.

“Being our brand ambassador at New Zealand’s gateway airport, we love the way they are able to bring a little of Central Otago and the Chard Farm experience to Auckland Airport, sharing our wonderful wines with international visitors,” commented Matt Groves, Sales Manager at Chard Farm.

Lagardère Travel Retail CEO Przemek Lesniak added: “We are proud to collaborate with our brand partners to showcase premium products and localised experiences to our customers.”

Later this year, Aelia Duty Free will introduce a ‘Sauvignon Blanc Showground’ at selected stores that continues a tradition of wine pairings throughout the seasons.

Aelia Duty Free operates in nine locations across the Pacific.
