By Luke Barras-hill |

Aesop-interior-MelbourneDufry Group has introduced homegrown Melbourne brand Aesop at Melbourne International Airport (MEL).

The skin, hair and body care label is housed in a specific area of the airport’s duty free precinct and offers products as described in addition to fragrances, homeware and gifts.

Three travel retail exclusive products include the Melbourne Kit containing nine travel-sized skincare, hair, body and oral care essentials; the Aromatique Hand Balm Duet of two travel-sized hand-care products; and a 250ml bottle of Aesop mouthwash.

Customers can also enjoy pre-flight hot towels, a rejuvenating beverage, expert skincare consultations and product recommendations.

Philippe Boyer, Dufry General Manager for Australia said: “We are proud to work in partnership with this exceptional brand and introduce Aesop into our product portfolio.

“It’s particularly exciting to be able to collaborate on this standalone store space here in Melbourne Airport, given that Aesop was first established in Melbourne over 30 years ago and this will be the first travel retail store in Australia. Customers will love the space, the services offered and of course, the wonderful products.”

Designed in-house, the Aesop standalone store ‘provides a welcome and calming contrast to the bustle of the main airport and stocks a range of products for the skin, hair, body and home, including fragrances’.
