Armani Beauty celebrates ‘Year of the Tiger’ with Lagardère and CDF in Hainan

L’Oréal Travel Retail Asia Pacific is hosting a number of events in Hainan throughout January and February for Armani Beauty.

Designed to celebrate Chinese New Year, pop-up stores showcase the brand’s beauty pillar skus using bamboo – to represent strength and longevity – at key touchpoints.

A pyrotechnic drone show was held at China Duty Free’s Haitang Bay Shopping Complex on 22 January, 28 January and 1 February to mark Lunar New Year itself (see below gallery).

The show featured striking formations of bamboo, pillar brands and festive greetings delivering a ‘New Year, New Strength’ message.

Meanwhile, an immersive 3D LED wall animation using the same visuals was displayed at the Hainan Tourism Duty Free Shopping Complex with Lagardère Travel Retail.

“The Armani Beauty products showcased in the pop-ups and highlighted during the pyro-drone show and 3D animation includes Sì Passione, Lip Maestro, Crema Nera, Armani/Privé Thé Yulong and the My Armani to Go Cushion new limited edition,” said L’Oréal Travel Retail Asia Pacific.
