Asia Pacific Travel Retail Awards finalists revealed
By Charlotte Turner |
TRBusiness and Swiss travel retail research agency m1nd-set are delighted to announce the finalists for the 2022 Asia Pacific Travel Retail Awards; the second regional edition of the consumer-voted awards.
Launched in 2021, the Asia Pacific edition of the awards puts region-specific purchasing habits firmly under the microscope.
A natural extension to the hugely successful Global Travel Retail Awards, the Asia Pacific awards provide a significant boost to the industry as it continues to recover from the impacts of the pandemic.
The winners of the 2022 Asia Pacific Travel Retail Awards will be revealed in a virtual ceremony to be aired on TRBusiness.com on the morning of 19 May (BST).
All companies that entered the 2021 Global Travel Retail Awards have been enrolled in the 2022 Asia Pacific Travel Retail Awards.
Entries to this year’s Global Travel Retail Awards, which will take place on Tuesday 4 October during the TFWA World Exhibition in Cannes, remain open until 03 June 2022. Click here to enter.
All entries to the 2022 Global Travel Retail Awards will be automatically entered into the 2023 Asia Pacific Travel Retail Awards.
FITTING ENDORSEMENT TO GLOBAL COUNTERPART
In a fitting endorsement of its global counterpart, the Asia Pacific edition of the awards has automatically entered suppliers of the Travel Retail Awards.
Partner m1nd-set will present essential consumer feedback from 2,000 international travellers across the Asia Pacific region sourced from the Swiss research agency’s unique database.
The Asia Pacific awards feature 13 product categories, accompanied by six airport awards.
Travellers have voted on the best products within each of the categories to demonstrate the buying inclinations of travellers in Asia compared with their global counterparts.
TRBusiness and m1nd-set believe strongly that amplifying what are frequently regional disparities in consumer purchasing behaviours affords new opportunities for brand exposure and development, something fundamental to the collective recovery of the travel retail industry.
Both firms believe that the latest awards iteration affords new opportunities for brand exposure and evolution — fundamental aspects of the industry’s collective recovery.
