Bangkok to open in June?

According to local news reports Suvarnabhumi Airport Director Somchai Sawadeephol has said that 99.65% of all construction work is now complete at the new Bangkok Airport and he is confident that the airport will open
this June.
However, he admitted that the progress is slower now as it is near the final stage of the construction. Somchai said that luggage conveyor belts and CTX 9000 bomb scanning devices are currently being tested and added that all systems will be completed tested within the month of May just prior to opening.
