Premium French winemaker Gerard Bertrand reports that it is to launch several ‘trendy’ new products at next week’s TFWA Asia Pacific show between May 15-19 (stand B10).
The company says that Muscato is its low alcohol Muscat wine (10 % proof) and is the Gerard Bertrand’s latest innovation in its wine product range, featuring ‘unique and modern character and flavours.”
The company describes it as a blend of Muscat d’Alexandrie and Muscat Petit Grain, which comes from a low-yield vineyard, which gives a higher quality and rare complexity to this wine. It adds that it is an ‘ideal choice as an aperitif’.
ORGANIC WINE RANGE
In addition, the company will be showing its Naturalys organic wine range, with each wine reflecting ‘contemporary, fresh and fruity styles’.
The company said: “Each wine embodies its origins in terms of varietals and terroir and they are an ideal complement to all fine meals. High quality standard guaranteed by careful winemaking in partnership with our growers. Several varietals available: Chardonnay, Grenache rosé, Merlot, Syrah, plus Languedoc terroir.”
The company adds that its packaging is respectful of the environment, featuring natural cork and labels made from recycled paper and rough cardboard.
This line is being targeted at ‘green’ or ecology-sensitive customers, as well as those looking for healthy and natural products.
Gerard Bertrand is also showing its Gris Blanc Crystalline wine, made from 100 % Grenache gris. It describes this as fruity in character, with a ‘trendy’ modern-look bottle, available in magnum size. It also benefits from ‘strong POS marketing support’ with ice bags.
