Bombay Sapphire piques interest in summer gin with English Estate LEP
By Luke Barras-hill |
Bacardi Global Travel Retail continues to tap into the global gin boom with the launch of the new limited edition Bombay Sapphire English Estate.
Inspired by the idyllic countryside surrounding the Laverstoke Mill Distillery in Hampshire, UK, the LEP launched into travel retail in May initially as an Asia exclusive with DFS Group at Singapore Changi Airport.
Available for 12 months only and due to roll out to other regions shortly, English Estate is part of a pipeline of LEPs designed to spark demand within premium gin.
Julie Witherden, Marketing Director, Bacardi Global Travel Retail said: “As the fastest growing gin in the region, it’s truly exciting to partner with DFS at Changi Airport and be able to offer their shoppers the latest innovation from Bombay Sapphire.
“English Estate has been meticulously developed to meet the needs of a consumer and category that celebrates craftsmanship, but also appreciates the luxury of classic cocktails.”
THREE NEW BOTANICALS
Bombay Sapphire’s citrus notes twin with three new botanicals: pennyroyal mint, rosehip and toasted hazelnut for a light and vibrant taste.
The LEP is being supported with a 360-degree global launch campaign.
Two cocktails have been created to flank the LEP: The Secret English Garden and Gin & Tonic [see below video].
