Changi Airport Group’s annual World of Wines & Spirits (WOWS) returned this October with the theme Wonders Reimagined, presented in partnership with LOTTE Duty Free.

Reinforcing its position as one of the leading showcases for prestige wines and spirits in global travel retail, the latest edition unveiled 63 exceptional bottles from 29 of the world’s most distinguished labels – from Johnnie Walker’s Vault Couture Expression to Martell’s L’Or de Jean Martell Zodiac Edition – Assemblage du Cheval – alongside an impressive line-up of rare whiskies, cognacs, fine wines and Champagnes.

The Wonders Reimagined gala, held at Changi Axis in Terminal 2, welcomed more than 600 distinguished guests, including international actor Lawrence Wong and award-winning actress Jeanette Aw. Through immersive performances, fine pairings and theatrical storytelling, the evening brought to life the artistry, provenance and craftsmanship behind each rare expression.

Among the highlight sales at this year’s gala were The Macallan Red Collection 40 Years Old (S$25,000), matured over four decades in hand-selected oak casks; Martell L’Or de Jean Martell Zodiac Edition – Assemblage du Cheval (S$14,500), a blend of vintage eaux-de-vie from Grande Champagne presented in a sculptural crystal decanter; and The Yamazaki Mizunara 18-Year-Old and 25-Year-Old Set (S$15,000), available exclusively at WOWS and celebrating the refinement of Japanese whisky-making.

Guests were treated to a captivating line-up of international performances that intertwined art, movement and sound. Hong Kong’s Lai Yee performed a Solo Cyr wheel act inspired by natural fluidity, followed by a handpan and violin performance from Japanese duo Bodai & Bonno, symbolising the interplay of creativity and innovation. The artists later collaborated in a finale that fused rhythm and motion, embodying the spirit of Wonders Reimagined.

Throughout the evening, guests explored five immersive zones that brought the world of fine wines and spirits to life. Highland Wonders (Japanese Whiskies) evoked tranquil bamboo landscapes through aromas of citrus, clove and oak, while Highland Wonders (European Whiskies) reimagined Scotland’s rugged coastlines with notes of dried fruit, spice and smoke.
