Camus Cognac to grow Distell’s brand presence in China duty free market

Luke Maga, Distell Global Travel Retail Managing Director, believes that Camus’ expertise in luxury spirits and the Chinese market will help Distell to grow its footprint.
French Cognac house Camus has been appointed to represent, market and distribute Distell International’s Scottish Leader, Bunnahabhain, Deanston and Amarula brands in China duty free.
Camus will act as the exclusive China distributor for the South African wines & spirits producer under a new deal, effective immediately.
Distell General Manager Asia Pacific Travel Retail Derek Scott will manage the partnership.

In China, Camus’ subsidiary distributes many other brands such as Pallini Limoncello, Berry Bros. & Rudd’s spirits and DeKuyper Royal Distillers’ liqueurs.
Recently, Camus was appointed as the sole distributor of Distell’s spirits in the French domestic market.
