Cartier invites shoppers to ‘Light and Shadow’ installation with DFS in Macau

Diamonds meet light: The attractive Cartier boutique is adorned with a light and shadow backdrop for the festive season.
DFS Group and Cartier have overhauled the latter’s boutique at T Galleria by DFS, Macau, Shoppes at Four Seasons to create the ‘Into Light and Shadow’ experience for shoppers.
Running between November and January, the boutique has been devised exclusively for the festive season and created in partnership with renowned Hong Kong contemporary artist Pauline Yau.
It features an immersive backdrop of intricate swirling paper clouds and clusters of gemstones evoking the thematic of light and shadow while pointing to the timelessness of Cartier’s collections.
A curated centrepiece showcases one-of-a-kind Cartier jewellery pieces, watched over closely by a panther effigy.

The Cartier boutique at DFS T Galleria Shoppes at Macau Four Seasons exhibits the world of the Panther. Cartier’s emblematic icon used since 1914 underscores the maison’s history and style through the decades.
A FUSION OF LIGHT & SHADOWS
Customers will be able to explore Cartier’s craftsmanship of light and shadow behind the artwork and Cartier diamonds, while semi-transparent gemstones cast light and colour onto stylish white, gold, silver and mother-of-pearl material.
Delicately cut paper ribbons adorn the boutique in cloud-like formations, creating shades of light and dark.
More than 90 exclusive pieces are being displayed, from solitaires to outstanding collections.
The 333sq m Cartier boutique at T Galleria by DFS, Macau Shoppes at Four Seasons reopened in February last year following a major renovation.
In a twist of tradition and modernity, the boutique was conceived by famed Parisian artist and interior designer Bruno Moinard and features the maison’s latest architectural concept.
Matthew Green, DFS Group Senior Vice President Watches and Jewelry says the installation delights the luxury travel retailer’s customers while amplifying the premium shopping experience in Macau.
“Creativity, innovation and exceptional quality are the hallmarks of our long history with Cartier and this latest collaboration truly brings these qualities to life,” he said.
“We look forward to welcoming travellers back to Macau and to the Cartier boutique this season for an exceptional, festive experience.”
Virginie Martignac, Cartier Global Travel Retail Director added: “At a time when Macau is welcoming more and more visitors back safely, this exhibition is a charming way to embrace our clients and immerse them once again in the uniqueness of Cartier’s diamond and creative universe.”
