Avolta manages six luxury boutiques at Chongqing International Airport under a five-year contract snared in 2022.

Global travel retailer Avolta has unveiled an 80sq m Chanel perfumes & cosmetics boutique at Chongqing Jiangbei International Airport in China.

The standalone unit showcases beauty offerings from the French luxury brand, including olfactory highlights from Les Exclusifs de Chanel, plus personalised consultation services.

As one of only three Chanel P&C boutiques in the China duty paid channel, the latest opening extends Avolta’s beauty presence at the airport to six luxury boutiques over more than 500sq m across the airside and landside areas.

The six boutiques, Estée Lauder, Lancôme, Guerlain, Shiseido (airside) and Xiangshe or ‘House of Scents’ (landside) form part of the travel retailer’s five-year contract win in September 2022.

We are proud of the outcome of our partnership with Chongqing International Airport and our internationally prestigious brand partners and look forward to our continued collaboration to grow our mutual business in China.”
