The-Cocoa-Trees-Changi-Airport-T4-leadChangi Airport Group (CAG) has divided its chocolate, candy, delicatessen concessions in the Departure/Transit Lounges of Terminals 1, 2, 3 and 4, between Focus Network Agencies (FNA) and Dufry-owned Nuance (Singapore); FNA will operate stores over five premises while Nuance takes four.

As reported, CAG issued an invitation to concessionaires to participate in a direct marketing exercise for nine confectionery concessions in July.

Concessions A, C and D have been awarded to FNA. Premises A2, C1, C2 and D will all adopt The Cocoa Trees fascia and retail concept, duplicating the existing unit in Terminal 4. FNA’s Taste Singapore will be located in premise A3.

Dufry-owned Nuance will open its ‘Sweet Garden’ concept in four premises as part of its Concession B package.

Focus Network Agencies (FNA) already operates The Cocoa Trees confectionery stores at Changi Airport.

Tenancies periods run variously from 15 months to 3 years (click here for further information) with a two-year renewal option available for all excluding Premises B2 and Concession D.

CAG stipulated in July that it was looking for high impact store designs and creative concepts offering passengers ‘an unforgettable experience’, alongside a suitable product spread accounting for different tastes and price points.

Additionally, CAG said it was seeking iterations using creative technology and visual merchandising techniques and/or marketing activations to drive penetration and conversion.

“As one of the most accessible and inclusive categories, the chocolate/candy/delicatessen concessions serve to diversify our retail offerings while delivering a fun and vibrant vibe to the overall retail ambience at Changi,” CAG said in a document.
