Changi and Lotte have teamed up for the second iteration of World of Wines & Spirits.

Changi and Lotte have teamed up for the second iteration of World of Wines & Spirits.

Changi Airport Group has unveiled the collection of fine and rare spirits that will feature in the World of Wines & Spirits (WoWS) event, hosted in partnership with Lotte Duty Free.

Back for a second year, the event brings together over 100 releases from 56 brands, including The Macallan, Bowmore, Martell and Hennessy.

WoWS customers will be treated to a personalised shopping experience once they’ve registered interest in a product.

Changi Airport concierge will facilitate any enquiries, take payment and either arrange collection or local delivery.

Collectors can purchase from the showcase between now and February 2024.

The WoWS catalogue includes an array of old and rare releases, including The Macallan 72 Years Old in Lalique – The Genesis Decanter. Limited to just 600 globally, the release offers notes of raisins, ginger, delicate peat smoke, and green apples.

Also available is Bowmore John Galvin 1965, a Lotte exclusive that has been aged in No.1 Vaults, the oldest maturation warehouse in the world. From the iconic island of Islay, this single malt offers both deep fruit notes in a balanced smokehouse style.

Martell 70 Years Old Grande Champagne is a one-of-a-kind limited edition drawn from some of the Cognac house’s rarest reserves. Just 70 decanters have been released, each crafted by French crystal maker, Baccarat.

Another highlight is Hennessy Paradis Bernardaux, made to celebrate The Year of the Dragon in 2024. It is the third in a Chinese Zodiac series, released in partnership with Maison Bernardaud.

World of Wines & Spirits Signature Event showcase

Guests from Changi Rewards, Lotte and other Changi Partners will be hosted at the WoWS Signature Event on 28 October at Capitol Theatre.

Customers with a minimum spend of SGD$10,000 from the WoWS online portal will receive an invitation to the event.

The evening features tastings as well as a menu prepared by Michelin-starred chefs. Artistic performers will provide entertainment.

For the first time, tickets to the WoWS flagship event have been made available to the public.

Usually invite-only, attendees will be able to enjoy conversation with brand ambassadors as well as enjoy the culinary offerings.

Limited tickets are available through the Changi Shopping Concierge, priced at SGD800/about US$588.

In the run-up to the event, WoWS will host a series of masterclasses with experts from The Macallan, Bowmore, Martell and Hennessy.

Hennessy Paradis Bernardaux is part of the line-up.

“We are delighted  to build on the success of the inaugural World of Wines and Spirits last year, and return with  a second edition that has more surprises in store for our valued customers,” said Lim Peck Hoon, Executive Vice President for Commercial, CAG.
