Clinique teams up with CDFG for Bring Out Your Brilliance campaign in Sanya

Clinique Travel Retail has partnered with China Duty Free Group (CDFG) to launch the Bring Out Your Brilliance campaign, which delivers an immersive shopping experience centred around its clinical-strength brightening serum: Even Better Clinical Radical Dark Spot Corrector + Interrupter.

The campaign is led by a striking outpost located in the atrium of cdf Sanya International Duty Free Complex (cdf Mall) in Hainan.

Its design is inspired by the iridescent bottle of the serum, illuminating the space with a laser-like colour and light showcase.

At the heart is an iceberg-shaped rotating art installation, encouraging an interplay of light and shadow, which makes a popular backdrop for capturing social media moments.

Consumers can shop two travel exclusive sets, which have been created in collaboration with Clinique APAC brand ambassador, singer and actor Roy Wang.

Members of the press, KOLs and flocks of travellers gathered to meet Roy Wang at the exclusive event.

Each contains a limited edition Roy Wang-themed mirror and a duo of products of either the Even Better Clinical Radical Dark Spot Corrector + Interrupter (100ml) or the Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion+ (125ml).

The fun factor comes courtesy of an interactive gaming area that takes consumers on a journey to ‘embrace their skin’s brilliance’, driving the immersive shopping experience both offline and online.

To celebrate the launch, Clinique hosted a live event with Roy Wang on 18 April, which drew an impressive crowd.

During the event, Wang spoke of his love for the Clinique Even Better Clinical Radical Dark Spot Corrector + Interrupter and highlighted the product’s brightening efficacy through a series of engaging interactions.

The outpost at cdf Sanya International Duty Free Complex offered an immersive offline and online shopping experience.

He also shared his travel skincare routine with fans, recommending the Clinique travel exclusive sets as a ‘perfect travel companion’ and ‘luminous gift on-the-go’.

Executives from Clinique Travel Retail and CDFG were in attendance to deliver speeches at the event – a sign of Clinique’s plans to deliver a variety of experiences to travellers in Hainan.

Cinique’s Even Better Clinical Radical Dark Spot Corrector + Interrupter features the CL302 Brightening Complex technology, developed by Clinique Laboratories, which can ‘visibly correct discolouration’, says the company.

As well as featuring the proprietary brightening molecule, the formulation contains vitamin C and is suitable for most skin types.

The Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion+ helps to replenish the skin’s oil-water balance with long-lasting, lightweight hydration while helping to strengthen the skin’s moisture barrier.
