Coty Travel Retail brings the “Festival of Scents” to life at Singapore Changi
By Naomi Chadderton |
Coty Travel Retail successfully brought its latest fragrance activation, Festival of Scents, to Singapore in partnership with The Shilla Duty Free Singapore at Changi Airport Terminal 2 Departure Transit Hall.
The immersive Diwali-themed pop-up – marking The Shilla Duty Free Singapore’s first-ever Diwali fragrance activation – elevated the traveller fragrance discovery experience through a fusion of festive storytelling and contemporary elegance.
Taking place from 17 October to 6 November, the activation invited passengers to explore bestselling fragrances from six iconic fragrance houses within a space inspired by the luminous spirit of Diwali. Warm golden hues, ornate decorative elements, and radiant visual touches created an inviting environment that celebrated both scent and seasonal tradition.
Throughout the activation, visitors enjoyed a Chai Bar offering chai-flavoured tea, sweet treats, and a scented blotter experience inspired by Diwali traditions, while Traditional Dhol Drum performances held from 18 to 23 October filled the terminal with vibrant cultural energy. Travellers also captured festive photo moments that added shareable and memorable touchpoints to their journey.
Mette Engell, Senior Vice President, Coty Global Travel Retail, reflected on the success of the activation, saying: “Diwali is a time of joy, connection, and celebration. Through ‘Festival of Scents’, we created an experience that reflects the beauty of the season while showcasing Coty’s leading fragrance portfolio in a way that appeals to travellers. We were delighted to partner with The Shilla Duty Free to bring this activation to life for travellers at Changi Airport.”
