TFWA, in cooperation with ACI Pacific and the Centre for Asia Pacific Aviation (CAPA), is putting the finishing touches to Gate One which takes place on Monday May 15 in the Singapore Suntec Centre.
Gate One is the annual global conference on the development of non-aeronautical airport revenues which are so vital to airport finances.
Gate One 2006, under the theme of ?Innovation in the airport community?, looks at the cutting edge strategies developed by some industry leaders ? and not necessarily the big organisations ? to develop these revenue streams. Speakers will include top executives from some of the world's leading airports and retail operators, plus key suppliers, researchersand service providers.
Peter Harbison of the Centre for Asia Pacific Aviation will set the context drawing on his wide experience of airport development in Asia. He will be followed by Professor Steve Burdon of the University of Technology Sydney discussing innovation in various industries.
Key industry players have given generous sponsorship for Gate One 2006 including Qatar Duty Free which is the event?s Platinum Sponsor.
