DFS curates holiday season liquor, fashion & beauty offers

DFS-personalised-bottlesTravellers to Singapore Changi Airport’s terminals this holiday season can take advantage of personalisation services on wines & spirits.

From now until the end of the year, travellers can have their bottles engraved or adorned with special labels.

Gifting stations have been set-up at each DFS store to provide the services.

PERSONALISED BOTTLES

Ten bottles are available for personalisation: Bacardi Carta Blanca Rum, Grey Goose Vodka, Johnnie Walker Blue Ghost, Johnnie Walker Gold Reserve, Macallan Enigma, Macallan Rare Cask Black Limited Edition, The Glenlivet Captain’s Reserve, Laphroaig 4 Oak, Penfolds Lot 518, and Penfolds Cellar Reserve Sangiovese.

A festive message using magnetic lettering is also offered on a special edition Grey Goose Vodka tin.

Meanwhile, an assortment of specialised glassware is available for engraving with names or special messages on purchases of S$2,000 or more.

These include a personalised a Champagne flute, wine glass, tumbler glass or whisky glass.

Fukubukuro

A limited number of Fukubukuro ‘mystery’ bags are available at T Galleria by DFS outlets at Okinawa, Hawaii and Guam beginning 1 January 2019.

“Personalisation is at the heart of DFS this holiday season, and through our unparalleled brand partnerships, we are excited to offer unique and exclusive experiences that enable travellers to add that extra sparkle when choosing gifts for their loved ones,” said Wilcy Wong, DFS Group Managing Director Singapore and Indonesia.

T GALLERIA SAVINGS

Meanwhile, DFS is celebrating the holiday season with festive events and discounts at its T Galleria stores in Okinawa, Hawaii and Guam.

In honour of the gift-giving season, Fukubukuro bags are available on a limited basis to customers.

They can also enjoying savings of up to 80% on selected fashion and beauty brands in celebration of Japanese New Year (Oshogatsu).

Fukubukuro is a popular traditional custom in Japan where mystery shopping bags are filled with an assortment of products worth several times more than the cost paid.

“We are delighted to bring Fukubukuro to our global traveling customers, to enhance their festive shopping with the excitement of discovery,” commented Ariel Gentzbourger, DFS Group Executive Vice President Merchandising.

“The Fukubukuro concept is a fun and interactive shopping experience that can be enjoyed by anyone at participating T Galleria by DFS stores. It is sure to be popular among all our customers, regardless of their nationality.”
