DFS Group hails success of eleventh annual Masters of Wines & Spirits event

Over 300 guests attended the 2023 MOWS gala event at the resort’s Morpheus hotel.

DFS Group’s 11th annual Masters of Wines & Spirits (MOWS) exhibition, which took place on 17 March at T Galleria by DFS, Macau, City of Dreams, has been hailed as a resounding success.

The exhibition, held at the location for the second consecutive year, featured a bespoke collection of more than 100 of the world’s rarest fine wines, spirits and champagnes.

In a new development for 2023, rum and tequila from 50 leading brands and houses, were also featured.

The weekend of prestigious events began with an intimate welcome dinner on Friday evening, held at L’Attitude in City of Dreams’ iconic Morpheus hotel. This renowned French bistro was the winner of the Award of Excellence 2022 by Wine Spectator.

The MOWS 2023 edition’s theme of ‘Elevate Your Senses’ was further showcased via a high-profile gala event at Morpheus on 18 March. This incorporated an immersive and interactive journey that spanned two floors and six different zones, featuring Moët Hennessy Diageo brands, champagne, single malt whisky, cognac, wine and other spirits.

Masterclasses and exclusive tastings

This year’s event also featured a selection of masterclasses and educational tastings from master distillers, blenders, wine makers and ambassadors from four iconic brands – The Macallan, Hennessy, Dictador and Penfolds – who shared their industry insights and knowledge with guests.

“Each piece in the collection was selected with our customers in mind, bringing together a spectacular array of the world’s finest and rarest wines and spirits in the vibrant city of Macau for the second time.”

The Masters of Wines & Spirits pop-up will remain open at T Galleria by DFS, Macau, City of Dreams until April.

It offers visitors the opportunity to delve further into details about the masterpieces it features. Throughout the pop-up period, special activations and product displays will be showcased across the store.
