DFS Group has launched its annual Lunar New Year campaign, inviting customers to ‘hop into good fortune’ and kick-start the Year of the Rabbit by shopping a curated line-up of gifts available until 28 February.

The luxury travel retailer’s gift edit spotlights an array of products that are available across its luxury pillars, including beauty and fragrances, fashion and accessories, food and gifts, watches and jewellery and wines and spirits.

All those celebrating the Lunar New Year (which falls on 22 January 2023) are invited to shop for top gifts for themselves, as well as the friends and family members on their list.

“This Lunar New Year, we invite our customers to kick-start the Year of the Rabbit with us through perfect gifts and festive celebrations to enjoy with loved ones,” said Long Chiu, Executive Vice President Digital Ventures and Marketing, DFS Group.

“We hope to share the joy of this auspicious holiday by providing an abundance of delightful surprises to create new holiday memories.”

DFS Group shoppers can treat themselves to a new look with the Say Hello To A New You edit featuring luxury fashion, beauty, watches and jewellery, as well as home and wellness indulgences.

Those seeking presents to give at reunions can pick and choose from the Bountiful Giving collection of affordable beauty, fashion and accessories, wines and spirits, and kids’ wear.

People looking to spread ‘cheer and good fortune with friends and family’ can shop the Share Your Luck edit of gifts, which includes ‘something for everyone’, from food, wines and spirits to beauty, fragrances and home and wellness items.

Throughout the campaign, guests will be greeted by the ‘auspicious and playful’ Fortune Rabbits hopping through DFS’ luxury festive playground (see the campaign video below).

There’s also a Fortune Rabbit Scavenger Hunt taking place in participating stores around the world, giving people the chance to win a complimentary Fortune Rabbit NFT in DFS World. (T&Cs apply – see the DFS Group website for details).

Much-loved local traditions, including lucky fai chun calligraphy, lion dances and visits from the God of Fortune enhance the festive ambience (see individual stores for details of times and dates).

The retailer’s Lunar New Year celebrations are also taking place in the metaverse at DFS World, where a number of interactive experiences and offers have been activated.

As an added touch, all those who reach a designated spending amount in-store or online can receive DFS limited-edition red packets featuring the Fortune Rabbits.
