DFS offers eclectic spirits blend in second Changi Airport Cocktail Festival

DFS-Cocktail-Festival-September-2019-leadDFS Group’s cocktail festival will return to Singapore Changi airport for eight weeks this September across Terminals 1,2,3 and 4, celebrating a recent cocktail culture ‘resurgence’.


The world’s leading luxury travel retailer says the the festival will provide travellers once again with an opportunity to taste and recreate cocktails at home using a range of ‘enticing’ spirits brands from around the world.


Combining entertainment with education, travellers will be invited to mix, taste and enjoy their own custom cocktails at DFS through tastings, brand engagements and hands-on cocktail mixing.


Many products will be making their Asian debut alongside Changi Exclusives, which have been hand-selected for the festival, all of which are available for purchase.

The festival will return to Singapore Changi airport for eight weeks this September across Terminals 1,2,3 and 4.

“Over the last few years, Singapore has really made its mark as the cocktail capital of the world, and we look forward to showing our travellers innovative ways to elevate their cocktail cabinet and experience at home with signature cocktail recipes and a range of exhilarating new products on offer, many of which can only be found here at DFS.”

The wide spectrum of brands on offer include: Santa Teresa 1796 Rum, Ketel One Botanical, Copper Dog Whisky, Marylebone Gin (Travel Retail Asia First), Whitley Neill Gin, Legent Bourbon (Asia First) and Sipsmith Raffles 1915 Gin      .

Travellers will have the opportunity to develop customised cocktails using the aforementioned brands on-sitethroughout the festival. Each cocktail will include three easy steps – choosing a base, mixer and garnish – so guests can easily replicate them at home with their purchased products.



Travellers who spend S$150 or more can accessorise their cocktail cabinet with a complimentary bar kit that includes an iridescent shaker, jigger and spoon.


From 6 to 19 September, travellers passing through DFS Departure stores across Terminal 1, 2 and 3 at Changi Airport will be offered tasting opportunities of all festival products.

Cocktail enthusiasts can visit Terminal 1 and Terminal 3 Departures between 6 – 10 PM, or Terminal 2 Departures between 5 – 9 PM for samples.


With a nod to sustainable thinking, DFS will offer travellers a recyclable straw and a free cocktail in store before entering.


On 13 and 27 September and 11 and 25 October, DFS bartenders will also be going head to head for a ‘Bartender Battle Off’ at Terminal 3 Departure Bars from 6 PM – 9 PM. Travellers can be part of the festival by casting their vote on their choice.



All products featured at The Cocktail Festival are also readily available on iShopChangi.com, where passengers can browse and purchase products from 12 hours to 30 days before their flight.

Purchased items can be collected at the Departure terminals, Arrivals halls or conveniently delivered to locations within Singapore. Travellers can also discover new ways of enjoying featured products, simply by downloading specialty cocktail recipes directly from the festival page on iShopChangi.com.


From 6 September to 31 October travellers who spend S$100 or more on iShopChangi.com will receive an iShopChangi.com exclusive gift with purchase of a travel sized cocktail kit.
