DFS to feature luxury line-up at China International Consumer Products Expo

DFS Group is to feature a luxury line-up across various categories at the first China International Consumer Products Expo to be held in Hainan on 7-10 May 2021.

As reported, DFS opened the first phase of a new downtown duty free retail complex in Haikou Mission Mills, Hainan on 30 January 2021 in partnership with Shenzhen Duty Free Group.

Co-sponsored by the Ministry of Commerce and the People’s Government of Hainan Province, the Consumer Expo is the first state-level exhibition to focus on consumer products.

LUXURY MERCHANDISING EXPERTISE

DFS will showcase its luxury merchandising expertise in partnership with leading global brands; award winning store design; and innovative and personal approach to in-store and online customer experience.

Officials from DFS and Shenzhen Duty Free, VIP guests and local dignitaries gathered for the opening ceremony of the Haikou Mission Hills retail complex on 31 January.

The retailer said: “Attending the Consumer Expo is a demonstration of the importance that DFS attaches to the China market. DFS is committed to building Hainan into a centre of international tourism consumption, promoting the development of modern service industry in Hainan and supporting the Hainan Free Trade Port’s goals.”

Established in Hong Kong in 1960, DFS offers its customers a curated selection of products from over 750 brands.

Its network consists of duty-free stores located in 10 major global airports and 22 downtown Galleria locations on four continents, as well as affiliate and resort locations.
