The Cartier boutique at Shanghai Hongqiao Airport Terminal 2 is the first to open with the new airport concept.

Dufry Group has partnered with brand superpowers Cartier and Montblanc to open two luxury departures boutiques at Shanghai Hongqiao International Airport.

Located in Terminal 2, with a ‘wide and welcoming entrance’ the Cartier boutique is the first to open with the new airport concept. This strikes a subtle balance between tradition and modernity, according to the retailer.

The contemporary interior with its warm colour palette, showcases the Maison’s creations including jewellery, watches, accessories, and fragrances.

Also located in Terminal 2, The Montblanc Boulevard is presented in the brand’s Neo concept. Customers visiting the store will discover the full Montblanc range including watches, writing instruments, large and small leather goods and accessories. Dedicated areas have been allocated to each product category where staff are on hand to serve customers.

These new boutiques complement Dufry’s strong luxury presence at the airport, where the likes of Hermès, Ferragamo, Bally, Zegna, Shang Zia and Versace are part of its portfolio.

Customers visiting the new Montblanc store will discover the brand’s full range including watches, writing instruments, large and small leather goods and accessories.

Andrea Belardini, Dufry Divisional CEO for Eastern Europe, Middle East, Asia and Australia said: “We are delighted to have been able to work in close collaboration with two of the iconic brands from the Richemont Group, to create bespoke retail spaces that showcase their exceptional products in such a striking and engaging way.

“The boutiques have been designed to deliver the ultimate customer experience in terms of comfort, ambiance, product range and services. We really value the expertise and passion that has been invested in these store developments by our trusted partners at both Cartier and Montblanc and would like to take this opportunity to thank them for support and trust.”
