Duty free in Vietnam

By Administrator |

The Vietnamese Government has given the green light for a $300m tourism complex to be built at Cua Lap, in the central coastal Ba Ria-Vung Tau province which will include duty free shopping.

The US-based Wininvest Group has been granted a license to develop what represents the biggest tourism project ever undertaken in the country on a 450-hectare site.
Wininvest envisages that construction will take five years and as reported previously the project is divided into three phases consisting of a first phase five-star hotel, villas, golf course, trade centres and entertainment areas.
A second phase will see the construction of a luxury restaurant, golf course, villas, bank and a helicopter pad and a third will comprise a water park, swimming pools, a theatre, shopping malls, duty free shops and an exhibition area.
