Duty Zero by cdf is celebrating the second anniversary of its seven stores at Hong Kong International Airport between 8 November and 31 December 2019.

CDF-Lagardère Company Limited (CDF-Lagardère), the joint-venture comprising China Duty Free Group (CDFG) and Lagardère Travel Retail took over the liquor and tobacco contract on 17 November 2017. Renovations were completed on 23 June 2018 and the stores were officially unveiled on 12 July 2018.

The celebration is based on a parade of 53 hand-picked worldwide creations of cognac, single malt whisky, blended whisky, wine and champagne and Asian liquor.

CDF-Lagardère Company Limited said: “The uniqueness of carefully handcrafted and precious blends, mature vintage, prestigious special-edition packing, fine and rare and exclusivity have been translated into the Duty Zero second Anniversary Collection for discerning wine and spirit aficionados and connoisseurs.”

As part of the celebration, an exhibition entitled Curating The World’s Finest Sensations takes customers on a journey of three thematic galleries in the East Hall North and East Hall South stores. These are The Master of Whisky, Wine Specialist and Connoisseur of Distilleries.

‘TREASURED GEMS’ UP FOR GRABS

Meanwhile, a digital silent auction is inviting bids on 21 ‘treasured gems’ with just one of each creation up for grabs. A lucky draw will take place at the end of the celebration with prizes worth HK$2m ($255,488). Customers spending HK1,500 in any Duty Zero store are eligible to enter.
