The activation is running until the end of February 2026.

Elizabeth Arden has unveiled a large-scale 5D Hydration Experience pop-up at cdf Haikou International Duty-Free City Shopping Complex, spotlighting its new Hyaluronic Acid + Peptides Ceramide Capsules Hydra-Plumping Serum and Water Cream.

Running until the end of February 2026, the ground-floor activation brings retailtainment into sharp focus, combining immersive design with product education and hands-on discovery to drive engagement around the brand’s latest hydration duo.

At the heart of the launch are two complementary products designed to deliver multi-dimensional hydration and visible firming benefits. The Hyaluronic Acid + Peptides Ceramide Capsules Hydra-Plumping Serum combines Size-Shifting Hyaluronic Acid Technology with peptides to penetrate deeply and plump the skin. Encapsulated for freshness and potency, the formula is positioned as delivering lasting hydration and firmer-looking skin.

Meanwhile, the Hyaluronic Acid + Peptides Ceramide Water Cream harnesses 5D Hyaluronic Acid Technology to lock in moisture while reinforcing the skin barrier. Together, the pair is marketed as a high-efficacy hydration solution aimed at improving skin texture, resilience and overall radiance.

The pop-up is structured around five experiential zones designed to guide customers through education, testing and entertainment.

Zone one introduces visitors to the capsule franchise through a giant rotating Hyaluronic Acid + Peptides Ceramide Capsule installation and a dedicated Capsules Serum Bar. Here, shoppers can test and explore the full capsules range alongside other Elizabeth Arden bestsellers, reinforcing the brand’s heritage in encapsulated skincare.

In zone two, The Skincare Lab, customers are invited to sit down with Elizabeth Arden beauty consultants for personalised consultations. Instant hydration and elasticity testing demonstrates the immediate impact of the new serum and cream, adding a data-driven layer to the discovery process.

Zone three serves as the central attraction: Thematic Water Ripples Experience Room. This immersive, multi-sensory space surrounds visitors with drifting water ripple visuals as they learn about the science behind the new hydration duo. The environment is designed to reinforce the products’ moisture-locking and barrier-repair claims through a highly visual, experiential format.

In zone four, visitors can step into a giant capsule-themed Photo Memento Booth to capture branded images of their experience. The interactive element reinforces key messaging around skin barrier repair, plumping and the coveted “glass skin” effect, while encouraging social sharing.

The pop-up is structured around five experiential zones.

Finally, zone five introduces a gamified element with the Energy Floating Balls Game Booth. Customers who make a purchase at the pop-up are invited to catch a floating ball from a giant canister to unlock a surprise gift, adding a playful incentive to drive conversion.

Yumie Chia, General Manager of Elizabeth Arden Asia Pacific Travel Retail, commented: “Our capsules serum products are extremely travel-easy and convenient. We also offer travel exclusive gifts and amenity kits to constantly remind our customers to ‘Travel with Arden’.”

The activation reflects Elizabeth Arden’s continued investment in immersive, education-led retail formats in Asia Pacific travel retail, with Hainan once again serving as a showcase market for high-impact experiential beauty launches.
