US beauty brand Elizabeth Arden has launched its new White Tea Skin Solutions skincare line at duty free stores in Hainan.

Shoppers can find the products at selected duty free counters on the island, as well as at the company’s White Tea House pop-up stores located at Hainan Tourism Duty Free Shopping Complex (in partnership with Lagardère Travel Retail) and CNSC Sanya International Duty Free Plaza.

On top of finding out more about the new skincare line, consumers can experience Elizabeth Arden’s popular White Tea fragrances and body care collection at the points of sale.

These are available in the original scent as well as variations as follows: Wild Rose, Ginger Lily and Mandarin Blossom.

For the Hainan roll out, the company has teamed up with tea brand Nayuki to offer customers a complimentary white tea drink to sip as they shop.

To help consumers learn more about White Tea Skin Solutions, a series of ‘mini’ outposts highlighting the launch and offering the complimentary tea have been placed on Levels 1, 2 and 3 of Hainan Tourism Duty Free Shopping Complex.

At CNSC Sanya International Duty Free Plaza, a similar outpost is located next to the mall’s reception counter, where the white tea drink is distributed via a co-branded vending machine.

“In curating the new White Tea Skin Solutions, our company has mindfully selected high quality, effective, predominantly natural ingredients, that are skin friendly and compatible, and are true to performance and skincare experience,” said Yumie Chia, General Manager of Elizabeth Arden Asia Pacific Travel Retail.

“The White Tea Skin Solutions collection is formulated without parabens, phthalates, sulfates (SLS & SLES), mineral oil, synthetic fragrance and synthetic dye.

“Staying true to our core values of being sustainable and responsible, our company has also utilised our strength in Science and technology to bioengineer the natural ingredients in the products to achieve great skincare efficacy.”

Elizabeth Arden’s mini outpost at the reception counter of CNSC Sanya International Duty Free Plaza introduces the new White Tea Skin Solutions skincare collection and distributes the white tea drink via a co-branded vending machine.

The collection is formulated with EGCG (Epigallocatechin Gallate Glucoside), an active molecule found in white tea, that has been bioengineered to ‘reinforce natural collagen in the skin’ and help to ‘boost the skin’s natural defence system’.

Using sustainably sourced ingredients and packaging, the ‘clean’ formulas are suited to all skin types, including sensitive skin.

The five core values of the skincare line are highlighted via the eco-tree design concept, as seen here in The Beauty Hall at TIMES’DF Haikou Mission Hills Duty-Free Town.

Its five core values (real results, sustainable forward, vegan and natural, clean formula and skin friendly) are highlighted by an ‘eco-tree’ design concept that features in a number of the  pop-ups.

The collection includes a gentle purifying cleanser, a fortifying bi-phase oil serum, a brightening eye gel and a micro-gel cream, with a bi-phase toning lotion set to be added in early 2023.
