Eyewear supplier EssilorLuxottica has created a new collection for the Coach Eyewear brand to celebrate 100 years of Disney.

The Disney X Coach launch is being supported via Coach’s first partnership with China Duty Free Group, in the form of an activation at the CDF Haikou International Duty Free Shopping Complex.

The promotion included an eye-catching digital pillar, which was present at the location until the end of September. This featured a Mickey Garden theme, decorated with a distinctive pink floral design. A dedicated Disney gondola showcasing the eyewear designs will remain in place until the end of December.

In line with Coach’s commitment to sustainability, the Disney X Coach collection features eyewear crafted from bio-injected materials, and packaging that incorporates 100% recycled paper.

EssilorLuxottica Asia Pacific Regional Director Gianmarco Montesano commented: “EssilorLuxottica is proud to celebrate one of the most iconic entertainment brands of today. Disney is a globally loved household name, and we wanted to spotlight its 100-year legacy in travel retail through an engaging animation space.

“With our partners at China Duty Free Group, we are delighted to showcase the exciting eyewear collaboration between Coach and Disney. The collection marks a momentous milestone, and we hope that customers will be delighted by the distinct designs and playful campaign messaging.”
