Estée Lauder debuts InCharge collection at Changi Airport
By Naomi Chadderton |
Estée Lauder has partnered with designer Diane von Furstenberg to launch the limited-edition InCharge Collection, unveiled to travellers through an exclusive pop-up at Changi Airport Terminal 1.
The collaboration marks the global debut of the collection in travel retail, with the immersive ‘InCharge: Own Your Journey’ activation running at the airport’s Departure Transit Hall until 9 April. The launch was developed in partnership with Changi Airport Group and The Shilla Duty Free Singapore.
Inspired by trailblazing women including Estée Lauder herself, the InCharge Collection centres on themes of empowerment, individuality and modern beauty. At the heart of the range is InCharge Essence d’Eau, a water-based fragrance designed to deliver a lighter, more fluid scent experience that interacts with the skin in a new way.
The collection also includes a Multi-Use Sculpting Blush Stick and Glossy Lip Oils, positioned as versatile, travel-friendly beauty essentials designed for consumers on the move.
The airport pop-up brings the collaboration to life through a multi-sensory retail concept incorporating water and mirror design elements inspired by the product packaging. A fabric canopy sky projector creates a flowing visual effect above the space, reinforcing the theme of reflection and personal discovery.
Visitors entering the activation are greeted by a fine mist of the InCharge Essence d’Eau fragrance released through a scent diffuser, introducing the amber floral composition before they explore the collection. Travellers can also take part in a Radiance Reset Service, a three- to five-minute express facial or beauty touch-up designed to refresh the skin before departure.
An AI-powered aura photobooth invites visitors to capture personalised “InCharge” portraits, while exclusive gift-with-purchase offers allow shoppers to customise an ‘Own Your Journey’ phone strap with charms.
Lina Ly, Senior Vice President of Travel Retail Asia-Pacific, The Estée Lauder Companies said: “The InCharge Collection represents an esteemed collaboration between two global icons: Estée Lauder and Diane von Furstenberg, united by a shared commitment to inspiring and empowering women. Bringing this partnership to life at Changi Airport through our very first Changi 1st activation underscores our commitment to creating meaningful and inspiring consumer experiences in travel retail.”

Hung Jean, Managing Director, Airside Concessions, Changi Airport Group added: “We are pleased to partner with The Estée Lauder Companies and The Shila Duty Free Singapore to launch the Estée Lauder x Diane von Furstenberg InCharge Collection exclusively at Changi Airport, marking its first global debut.
