Taiwanese travel retailer, Ever Rich, has collaborated with local graffiti artist DEBE and whisky brand Omar to launch two exclusive products, while a range of other ‘Running Rabbit’ products, such as a ceramics jar and cookie box, also go on sale to mark Lunar New Year.

 

Paying homage to the Year of the Rabbit, Ever Rich said the artist’s design was influenced by ‘the power to keep moving forward’.

 

“Ever Rich has long valued Taiwan’s art and culture, and often cooperates with Taiwanese brands,” said the retailer.

 

This time, Ever Rich Duty Free has partnered with Taiwanese whisky brand, Omar and internationally-renowned graffiti artist, DEBE, to launch two special edition whiskies; a virgin oak barrel and bourbon barrel single cask whisky.

 

Omar whisky is produced by the Nantou Distillery of Taiwan Tobacco and Liquor Company.

“Ever Rich has selected two barrels as exclusive limited edition whiskies; virgin oak barrel’ and ‘bourbon barrel’, and have named the two collections as ‘sky’ and ‘earth’,” said Ever Rich.

 

In terms of the design on the whisky’s packaging – a fast running rabbit – DEBE was inspired by the Chinese zodiac and the Year of the Rabbit in particular.

 

“The streamlined shape on the body symbolises clouds, which represent the sense of speed flying toward sky, showing that it is running towards the bright future and exploring infinite possibilities,” added Ever Rich.

 

The new Running Rabbit whisky is only available in Ever Rich’s airports shops, including Taoyuan International airport, Taipei Songshan Airport, Taichung Airport, and Kaohsiung International Airport shops and is limited to 200 bottles of each variant.
