Everrich brings Taiwan’s terroir to life with immersive retail concept at TPE
By Faye Bartle |
Everrich has launched its 2026 Formosan Terroir themed event at Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport (TPE), spotlighting Taiwanese flavours, culture, entertainment and retail through a series of immersive passenger experiences.
Designed to turn pre-departure dwell time into an opportunity for discovery, the campaign brings Taiwan’s distinctive sense of place into the airport retail environment.
From locally inspired cocktails and tea tastings to fragrance challenges, fashion experiences and live performances, travellers are invited to engage with brands and products through taste, scent, sound and touch.
“By connecting retail with local culture, lifestyle and entertainment, we hope to turn travellers’ waiting time into a moment of discovery,” Everrich said.
“The airport is not only a place of departure, but also an important gateway for travellers to experience Taiwan. Through multi-sensory experiences, we want to create more meaningful connections between travellers, brands and the destination.”
One of the highlights of the campaign is an exclusive collaboration with Bar Mood Taipei, a multi-time honouree on Asia’s 50 Best Bars list, to create the airport-exclusive cocktail titled ‘Mountain and Ocean’.
Based on Kavalan whisky, the cocktail combines dried peaches from Lala Mountain, high-mountain oolong tea, botanicals and nori, translating Taiwan’s diverse landscape – from its mountain tea gardens to its coastline – into a distinctive drinking experience.
The featured Taiwanese products and ingredients are also available across Everrich’s duty-free retail offering.
The showcase also features Heli Oolong Tea Plum Liqueur, which brings together Taiwanese tea and fruit flavours.
Beyond F&B, Everrich has designed the campaign around interactive retail experiences that encourage travellers to actively discover products.
Alishan high-mountain cold-brew tea is paired with Taiwanese egg rolls and biscuits, creating a relaxed tasting experience before departure.
Additionally, selected new luxury fashion pieces are incorporated into styling sessions, giving travellers the chance to try on, carry and experience the products firsthand.
There are also blind fragrance challenges for a sensory dimension.
Entertainment is also integrated into the experience. Live DJ sets inspired by the rhythms of Taiwan’s mountains and oceans are complemented by band performances featuring traditional instruments including the sheng, yueqin and liuqin.
