Foreo has entered into a partnership with Chicor, a leading beauty speciality store in South Korea, to place the brand at a number of its outlets in the country.
The Swedish beauty and tech company has already opened at its first Chicor store, Chicor Daegu, located at Shinsegae Department Store, providing shoppers a chance to experience a range of Foreo products.
“Inking a deal with a brand that is fast becoming the beauty go-to for South Koreans points that we are moving toward significant brand awareness and recognition in the country,” said Global Travel Retail Director, Gary Leong.
“Foreo is thrilled to have yet another partner to assist us in becoming the number one beauty brand in South Korea.
“We thank them for their assistance and dedication while turning this partnership into a reality, and look forward to a long and fruitful union.”
More key openings are in the pipeline, with Foreo signing on to launch at three more Chicor stores in the Gangnam and Hongdae areas before the end of the month (August 2022).
The company is planning to offer exclusive promotions through the retail channel, to drive customer engagement.
Chicor houses over 250 premium brands hand-picked by Shinsegae, and has a total of 24 stores in Korea.
Other brands under the Chicor umbrella include Lancôme, Clarins, MAC and Laneige.
The Chicor collaboration is the latest addition to Foreo’s growing roster of partnerships that have been announced this year.
Foreo says it’s ‘on track to recover steadily since the pandemic’, with a focus on expanding its on-ground visibility and sales.
