Foreo eyes growth potential with DFS at Haikou Mission Hills complex
By Luke Barras-hill |
Swedish beauty brand Foreo has spoken of its strengthening partnership with DFS Group.
DFS opened a new downtown DF&TR complex in partnership with Shenzhen Duty Free at the Haikou Mission Hills resort in Hainan island at the weekend.
The complex, due to open in phases, features the largest beauty hall in DFS’ global network.
Once complete, Haikou Mission Hills will span more than 30,000sq m.
Gary Leong, Global Travel Retail Director, Foreo said: “We have enjoyed a long and fruitful partnership with DFS over the years. All lasting business is built on friendship with healthy business relationships, and we are more than happy to say that with DFS, we have found both.
“Foreo is greatly looking forward to the completion of the Mission Hills Hainan complex, and we are excited to grow our partnership and support with the upcoming year ahead.”
The partnership between Foreo and DFS traces to 2016, when a global expansion plan kicked off with placements in Hong Kong, Macau, Singapore, Sydney, Bali, and Cambodia.
Subsequent points of sale appeared across the Pacific Islands of Guam, Saipan, and Hawaii, and the US mainland with Los Angeles (LAX), San Francisco (SFO), and New York (JFK).
