The Foreo and Hyundai Duty Free beauty masterclass offered top tips to guests on managing their complexions ahead of Chuseok.

Swedish beauty and tech company Foreo is leveraging the success of its signature VIP beauty masterclass activations, which the company says is proving effective at garnering grassroots support for the brand, with an engaging event in collaboration with Hyundai Duty Free.

The exclusive class was held on 3 September at the Hyundai Duty Free VIP Lounge, with eight KOLs and 17 VIPs enjoying an in-depth tutorial on looking after the complexion for Chuseok (Korean Thanksgiving Day season).

“Our second beauty masterclass this year only amplifies further the message we are communicating to the market – that we are here to help and are your support for any skincare need or query,” said Global Travel Retail Director Gary Leong.

“By assisting consumers from the grassroots, we hope to develop lifetime relationships, which in turn translates to word-of-mouth marketing – something that money can’t buy.

The event was themed on skincare for the changing seasons, offering top tips to guests on how to cater to their skin’s needs during the coming winter months using the Luna 3, Bear, and UFO 2 devices.

Guests were able to test and experience Foreo devices at the event.

High-profile hosts Inyoung Choi, a TV host, and skin expert Gana Park brought a touch of star quality to the masterclass by imparting their beauty wisdom with the audience.

The hosts demonstrated how to use the Foreo devices and shared insider tips on how to maximise the results.

User reviews were also relayed as part of the event, which further amplified the messages.

The event was hosted by TV host Inyoung Choi and skin expert Gana Park.

Guests took the chance to experience the products and were gifted with a selection of Foreo skincare products as well as desserts featuring the brand’s signature colours.

This was in addition to a selection of special deals available, as well as a Hyundai Duty Free exclusive UFO mini set given as a ‘token of appreciation’.

Leong added: “We thank Hyundai Duty Free for their cooperation and support in our new activation, and hope to continue the partnership further for this coming year.”
