Foreo unveiled its latest point of sale (POS) at Haikou International Duty Free City Shopping Complex on 28 October to coincide with the mega mall’s grand opening.
The shopping complex in Haikou, China, dubbed ‘the largest duty-free store in the world’, provides a stand-out backdrop for the Swedish beauty and tech brand, as it continues to build its presence in the channel.
Shoppers can discover the newly launched Luna 4 collection, as well as the Glow Up special collection, which has been especially designed with the Chinese travel retail customer in mind.
It the first duty free location in the world for the Luna 4 range, following its debut at the TFWA World Exhibition in Cannes.
“We are thrilled to launch the new Luna 4 range at the Haikou International Duty Free City Shopping Complex, fresh from its debut at TFWA Cannes,” said Global Travel Retail Director Gary Leong.
“The new range has made waves throughout the beauty industry, and we are excited to see the response from the Chinese travel retail customer as we unveil our latest and most technologically advanced range.”
As previously reported, Haikou International Duty Free City Shopping Complex spans a whopping 280,000 square feet of retail space, containing more than 800 top brands, including five exclusives, five global firsts and more than 50 stores.
The Foreo POS is located at CDF Beauty Hall on the second floor of the mall and sits alongside other prestige beauty brands.
To raise awareness of the showcase, Foreo has taken over high profile advertising space on the LED flag, which is the focal point of the mall.
Introducing the Foreo Luna 4 collection
The Luna 4 collection showcases the latest advancements in the brand’s prowess in hi-tech skin cleansing devices.
The Luna 4 mini is targeted toward Gen Z, with its dual-sided facial cleansing brush and 30-second Glow Boost mode for a quick fix.
For cleansing on-the-go, the ultra-lightweight Luna 4 Go is pitched as a ‘must-have travel-friendly device’.
It is clinically proven to remove 99% of sweat, dirt and oil on the skin.
The device features hygienic silicone touchpoints that are quick-drying and non-porous, to deliver a deep and gentle massage that helps to relax facial muscles, reduce puffiness and boost radiance.
It is available in four shades – pistachio, peach perfect, lavender and evergreen – and completes 300 60-second uses per full charge.
The Glow Up special collection for Chinese travel retail customers
The Glow Up special collection is comprised of three options and caters to a range of different needs.
First up is the Luna 3 in pink, Micro-Foam Cleanser, and Serum Serum Serum, proving the ultimate cleansing bundle.
The second available set is aimed at parents who want to streamline their children’s bedtime routine. It includes the Issa Lids Summer Sky electric toothbrush, with two replacement brush heads for fuss-free brushing for little ones.
The third set is a pampering duo for parents and kids, containing a Luna Mini 3 in pink and a Issa Kids Mango Tango with two replacement brush heads.
