Foreo prepares for rebound in demand with new Hyundai Duty Free counter

Swedish beauty brand Foreo has opened a new counter in Seoul at Hyundai Duty Free’s new duty free store in Dong-Dae-Mun, and reaffirms its commitment to investing in travel retail.
“The global travel retail unit is investing in counter expansion in preparation for retaliatory consumption after the coronavirus outbreak put a halt on economic growth worldwide,” said the company.
“As a side effect of the coronavirus, the number of customers Foreo has seen during Q1 has decreased as compared to Q1 2019 in Korea, but the travel retail team has said that they are expecting the demand for travel and shopping to increase drastically in late Q2 and Q3 in Asia, seeing as there are positive signs in showing a recovery from the outbreak.”
Foreo’s travel retail division has expanded globally to 260 locations in 26 countries in just two and a half years since it began in 2016.
In that time it has cultivated solid partnerships with leading global retailers including, Dufry, Gebr. Heinemann, Lotte Duty Free, The Shilla Duty Free, Shinsegae Duty Free, Dubai Duty Free, Qatar Duty Free, China Duty Free Group and DFS Group.
