Foreo strengthens in Malaysia with Eraman Duty Free alliance at KLIA

Swedish beauty and skincare company Foreo has expanded its points of sale in Malaysia by partnering with duty free retailer Eraman at Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA).

The Foreo counter is positioned in the KLIA Main Terminal Building on Level 5, with exposure to arriving international and domestic traffic.

Prior to the new KLIA Foreo counter, the firm counted a presence with Dufry at Genting Highlands and a listing with Malaysian Airlines.

At the Foreo counter, travellers will discover a range of best-selling items, including the Luna 3 and Luna Mini 3 facial cleansing brushes, plus the Bear micro-current device.

Malaysia expansion ‘a long-standing aim’

These are in addition to the UFO 2 facial mask device, the Bear Mini, and key Foreo skincare products such as the Micro Foam Cleanser and Serum Serum Serum.

Malaysia officially reopened its borders to international travellers from 1 April as it abolished quarantine requirements for the fully vaccinated, which helped to spur tourism.

Foreo is now present at KLIA with Eraman Duty Free.

Malaysia’s favourable conditions for tourism recovery – fully vaccinated travellers are no longer subject to quarantine on arrival but are required to take a PCR test two days before departure and an RTK test on arrival – is helping Foreo. Pictured is an Eraman Duty Free store at KLIA.

Foreo Global Travel Retail Director Gary Leong said: “Malaysia has long been in our sights for further expansion into Asia and this partnership has been in the works with delays due to the pandemic. We are thrilled to have finally inked this deal with Eraman, allowing us to expand our offerings to the Malaysian market.

“With the Malaysian borders opening recently, we are delighted to showcase Foreo to customers far and near. We are confident that our positioning with Eraman will be very well received and foresee bigger things in the future.”
