Fwu Wren Loh is ARI Auckland’s new General Manager.

Fwu Wren Loh has been appointed General Manager, Aer Rianta International (ARI), Auckland effective immediately, following the departure of Thomas Byrne earlier this year.

Having joined ARI Auckland in 2018 as Head of Finance as well as a member of the Board of Directors, Loh has extensive experience in strategic planning, commercial finance, marketing, sales, operations and health and safety, all of which will be invaluable for his new role as General Manager, said ARI.

Prior to joining ARI, Loh held senior leadership roles with some of New Zealand’s most iconic organisations.

Nuno do Amaral, Chief Operations and Business Development Officer, ARI, commented on the appointment: “I congratulate Fwu Wren in his promotion to General Manager. Fwu Wren brings significant commercial expertise to the role and has a strong track record in driving growth.

“I look forward to working closely with Fwu Wren, and the wider leadership team, as we manage through the impact of Covid-19 and drive the future growth of our Auckland business”.

Loh added: “I am delighted to be appointed as the General Manager for ARI Auckland. I am fortunate to have a very strong team here in Auckland and while it’s been a challenging year and a half, we are now well positioned to take advantage of any opportunities that comes our way as the industry recovers from the impact of Covid-19.

“I am really looking forward to leading the team and working collaboratively with Auckland International Airport to deliver the best duty free shopping experience to our customers. We have good strategic plans in place for the business and I am excited to now be able to make these plans a reality.”
