Travel accessories company Go Travel has set its sights on further expanding its travel retail presence in Australia and New Zealand by enlisting the services of CDB Group for distribution.

“CDB has a reputation for representing top brands and a specialism in electricals, which is a great fit for Go Travel,” said Stephen Worden, General Manager, Go Travel. “It’s a step in the right direction for further expansion in the Asia Pacific region.”

Go Travel is already working with major travel retailers in Australasia, such as WH Smith, Lagardère Travel Retail and Lotte Duty Free.

This is in addition to having a strong retail presence on the domestic markets, with department stores as key partners.

CDB Group brings over 20 years’ experience of operating in Australasia to the table, working with big-name brands such as Nutribullet, GoPro and Tile, as well as domestic brands Goldair and Jackson.

The group counts its ‘marketing focus, merchandise expertise and supply relationships with major retailers and airports across the region’ as factors that give it an edge.

“We are excited to be working with the global leader in travel accessories and bringing our customers the widest offer available in the region,” said John Whittaker, Business Manager, CDB Group.

“As the travel industry switches back on over the next 12 months, we are well placed to deliver the premium service our customers have grown to expect over the past 20 years.”

CDB has offices in Melbourne, Auckland and China, with 25,000-square-metre distribution facilities utilising paperless warehouse management systems and offering same day despatch.

It has a full-service merchandise team across Australia and New Zealand.
