Goldfield & Banks debuts Rose Magnitude with Sydney Airport pop-up
By Naomi Chadderton |
Australian niche fragrance house Goldfield & Banks has launched its latest scent, Rose Magnitude Eau de Parfum, in travel retail through a dedicated pop-up at Sydney Airport Terminal 1 in partnership with Gebr. Heinemann.
The activation marks the global debut of the fragrance and introduces the brand’s first Botanical Series pop-up concept, designed to immerse international travellers in the landscapes and native inspirations that define the house’s Australian identity.
Developed in collaboration with Prestige Brands Australia and Heinemann Oceania, the installation invites travellers to explore the Goldfield & Banks collection through an experiential retail environment centred on botanical storytelling.
Rose Magnitude launches globally in March 2026 as the newest Eau de Parfum in the brand’s Botanical Series and continues Goldfield & Banks’ approach of translating Australian landscapes and raw natural elements into fragrance form.
Inspired by the pink salt lakes of South Australia, the scent offers a bold interpretation of rose that blends opulence with a dry, mineral edge shaped by the environment rather than traditional floral gardens. The fragrance opens with raspberry and Egyptian cumin, leading into a heart built around Damask rose and violet, before settling into a woody base of sandalwood, papyrus, black vanilla and tonka bean.
“Rose Magnitude reflects what we believe modern luxury should feel like – clear, confident and expressive,” said Dimitri Weber, Founder and Creative Director of Goldfield & Banks.
The composition explores contrasts between softness and intensity, pairing the delicacy of rose petals with earthy textures and warm woods inspired by Australia’s vast landscapes.
Available in both 100ml and 10ml formats, Rose Magnitude reinforces the brand’s positioning within the niche fragrance segment while using travel retail as a launch platform to introduce new creations to an international audience.
