Hong Kong Airport bids travellers bon voyage with instant shopping rewards

HK-promotion-rewards-Autumn19Travellers to Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA) this autumn are being offered extra incentives to shop in a new campaign running to 8 October.

Passengers at the Terminal 1 Restricted Area can pickup a ‘Bon Voyage Passport’ entitling them to offers such as multiple instant discount coupons worth up to HK$15,000/US$1,900, free beauty samples, panda cookies, limited edition confectionery and complimentary cocktails from different duty free shops.

Those spending more than HK$2,000/$255 in one day using electronic payment means are eligible for the coupons. Alipay or AlipayHK users can receive an additional bonus of up to HK$600 when settling their payments.

HKIA says those wishing to take part in the promotion should download the ‘HKG My Flight’ app and register as a member.


Prior to departure, passengers can explore a tranche of new brands such as Monocle, Wolfgang Puck Kitchen, Irvins Salted Egg, Lego and Petite Voyager by Nobletime for families on the move.
