KPIG hotel in duty free complex on target

According to local reports, King Power International Group will open its 387-room Novotel King Power Hotel in Bangkok on September 15 as part of the King Power Complex which offers extensive off-airport duty free shopping.

The hotel, which features five restaurants, a spa and a conference facility which can accommodate 400 is directly linked to the duty free complex and is aimed squarely at international tourists.
KPIG expects the main nationalities that will use the hotel will come from China, Hong Kong, Japan, Korea and Singapore and it also believes that around 50% of guests will be business travellers.
Novotel, owned by the Accor hotel group holds the contract to manage the hotel under a 10-year contract.
