La Mer extends ‘Escape to Tranquility’ across Asia Pacific

Escape to Tranquility was rolled out at the cdf Sanya International Duty-Free Shopping Complex.

La Mer has rolled out its travel retail-exclusive Escape to Tranquility campaign across Asia Pacific, combining skincare discovery with experiential activations, destination partnerships and exclusive gifts.

Launched across key destinations in July, the campaign is inspired by Retreat de La Mer, and aims to bring the brand’s focus on renewal into the traveller journey through curated skincare rituals and wellness-led experiences.

A major activation took place at the cdf Sanya International Duty-Free Shopping Complex, where La Mer took over the Block C VIP Lounge from 11–31 July. The space featured curated product displays and brand storytelling alongside interactive soundscape experiences designed to create moments of relaxation and discovery for travellers. The campaign also extended beyond the travel retail environment through a partnership with Sunshine Yi Hotel in Sanya, located close to the cdf complex. The collaboration included a branded sky pool takeover and an exclusive La Mer afternoon tea, alongside cross-location experiences and rewards.

Escape to Tranquility was rolled out to six further Asia-Pacific locations, spanning airports, hotels and other travel retail touchpoints in Bangkok, Macau, Shanghai, Seoul, Taipei and Hong Kong.

Alongside the experiential elements, La Mer showcased a selection of its skincare products and travel retail-exclusive sets designed for different stages of the journey, from on-the-go hydration to complete day-and-night routines. Featured products included Crème de la Mer: The Iconic Ritual of Renewal and the Day & Night Duet Set: A Complete Day-to-Night Ritual.

The campaign was further supported by tranquility-themed gifts including satin pillowcases and hair ties, extending its wellness positioning into the gifting offer.
