Lagardère Travel Retail Pacific has opened the second new-look Tech2Go store in Australia in Cairns International Airport Domestic Terminal 2.

Lagardère Travel Retail Pacific has opened a new Tech2Go store in the upgraded Cairns International Airport Domestic Terminal 2.

A range of products are available in-store including headphones, phone accessories, chargers and adapters.

Przemyslaw Lesniak, CEO, Lagardère Travel Retail Pacific commented: “It feels great to be getting back into the swing of things and opening new stores again. Congratulations to everyone involved in getting our latest Tech2Go store ready to open at Cairns Airport’s upgraded T2 Domestic Terminal.”

He added: “This is the second new-look Tech2Go store to open in Australia and I can’t wait to get up to Cairns to see it myself. Well done team.”

As reported, the A$55 million/$38.6 million domestic terminal 2 revamp was completed in August. The retailer operates a number of outlets at the facility including The Cairns Store souvenir concept; Relay/Kikki K travel essentials concept; Kaboom/Lego store, which offers toys, games, activity packs and books; and an Icons Cairns outlet, which specialises in local produce.

In other company news, Lagardère Group has completed the sale of Lagardère Studios to Mediawan on 30 October. The sale, which was first revealed on 22 June is part of the company’s strategy to focus on the travel retail and publishing elements of the business.

Lagardère Travel Retail Pacific operates a number of stores in the terminal including a Relay/Kikki K travel essentials concept.
